Prophetic Voice

And so the word ‘shalom’ doesn’t mean just peace to the Hebrew. The word ‘shalom’ means everything that has to do with well being. Freedom from fear, physical health - everything that has to do with being whole. Spirit, soul and body is what ‘shalom’ means. I tell you what I think though, the reason I think this angel comes in and says and reveals God as Jehovah Shalom- He’s breaking all this hope deferred off of this guy. He’s taking him from this place of cynicism and fear and unbelief and hope deferred and He says, “You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to heal your heart right here and now so you are now positioned to move in faith again and go forward and do all that I called you to do.” So He announces, “I AM the God that makes you whole, even in your minds, even in your emotions, even from your brokenness, even from your fear, even from your defeatist mind set Gideon,” that says, ‘These guys were never going to get these Midianites out of here.’

So God is going to be visiting some of you, if he doesn’t do it tonight. And He is going to be breaking the unbelief, the fear, the cynicism, the hope deferred.

Hope deferred doesn’t make you bad. One of the things I say in that book is hope deferred heart disease is the common cold of the soul. You can’t go through life and not be touched by it. God knows how to break that off of you. God knows how to heal your heart and make it whole.

“I take the little. I take the least and do the most with it because I CAN JUST SHOW MYSELF STRONG. And I can show the whole world, this is me. I don’t need numbers. I need hearts that will just do what I tell them to do, in fact I can even take the fearful, I can take the cynical, if they just give me half a chance, I’ll use them. Change their name make them a Baal Conquer.”

“If you’ve run with the footman and they’ve wearied you.” Now the word weary doesn’t mean just to tire you out, it means to wear down your mind. In other words the enemy has a strategy to bombard your thinking process so you cannot think straight. And it’s almost like there’s this year also, there’s also a great contention going on in these particular states. Where the enemy is saying, “I’ve got to wear them down with certain circumstance or else they’re going to break fully into their destiny for today. So don’t let the enemy’s tactics of trying to wear you out succeed.
